The work of his hands...

Dad has been working on this piece most of the year, it seems.  I told him what I needed, and he designed it for me.  The beauty of this pantry is hard to describe; but the value of it is absolutely beyond articulation.  He poured himself into every pencil mark on the plan, and every stroke of the sandpaper.  He is generous and strong and I am anchored by this symbol of his presence in our home.  Thank you, Dad.

It's just beautiful, Em! And your pictures of it are so good. Thank you for posting! Give a real live hug to that dear Dad of ours for me. Hope to see both of you before long...

Its breathtaking! I share your sentiments about his presence! Everytime my grandfather clock chimes I am reminded of the anchor of his solid, strong love!
So glad you have it and you have him...I echo Melissa, hug that Dad for me too!

Love it! And the hands that made it. And the recipient of it.
